|Rescue Me ID: 15-08-28-00667Igor (male)|
Igor is a very distinguished name for a very bouncy, friendly, cheerful dog. If you adopt him you'll become his pack leader and he'll follow you from room to room awaiting your orders, General. He has a ton of energy for special operations like tug-o-war and playing with other members of the unit/ pack, whether they are canine or human. He's a bit unsure of his size so he likes to crawl under your legs or the couch to find a nice safe den to sleep in sometimes. Though if you let him, he will happily jump onto the couch to cuddle with you instead of getting under it. He is a playful, eager to please, energetic new recruit to the ranks of your family. Igor is about 1 year old and fully vetted. If you would like to meet Igor, please send us an e mail to receive an application. (Less)

Alaskan Malamute Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Alaskan Malamute is an extremely friendly, large breed. Alaskan Malamutes are wonderful with older children. Alaskan Malamutes like to roam outside and need a large yard or acreage. Fences should be high with a buried base, since Alaskan Malamutes like to dig and can get out easily. The Alaskan Malamute is rowdy as a puppy but calms down as an adult dog. Human companionship is important as Alaskan Malamutes can get into trouble and ruin property if not given enough attention. Alaskan Malamutes need to be socialized with children and other dogs at an early age. Alaskan Malamutes, especially males, can be very dominant and may fight with other dogs if not exposed to them when young.
