She is 125 pounds uptodate on shots and we have all of her vet records.

Alaskan Malamute    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sampson is a 6 year old male, black & white Alaskan malamute standing at about 26 inches to the shoulder and weighing about 90 pounds. Sammy came to SDD from a high kill shelter in southern California. He came to us skin & bone with a terrible coat, flea/tick infested among other internal and external parasites. He has made a full recovery though! He now has a soft and gorgeous coat; he has gained 17 pounds and is at his goal weight, he is Lyme negative and vaccinated. He is a very sweet, clingy and loving boy who is still very young at heart. He loves to play and is extremely vocal. He is however not the best with other dogs and would ... (Read More)prefer a home as the only pet. His energy level is low requiring only short, daily walks. He does enjoy nice long naps and cuddling with his people. He is your typical, people loving Malamute; he will follow you until his paws fall off, just to be close to you, if he could! He is so kind we cannot even begin to describe just how wonderful he really is. Sampson knows how to sit, stay and shake; he is house trained and crate trained. He would love a home where he can just be the center of attention. He has not yet been kid tested but can be upon request. He is great for both vet and grooming visits as well as in home baths and brushings. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting an Alaskan Malamute in Pennsylvania
Alaskan Malamute Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Alaskan Malamute is an extremely friendly, large breed. Alaskan Malamutes are wonderful with older children. Alaskan Malamutes like to roam outside and need a large yard or acreage. Fences should be high with a buried base, since Alaskan Malamutes like to dig and can get out easily. The Alaskan Malamute is rowdy as a puppy but calms down as an adult dog. Human companionship is important as Alaskan Malamutes can get into trouble and ruin property if not given enough attention. Alaskan Malamutes need to be socialized with children and other dogs at an early age. Alaskan Malamutes, especially males, can be very dominant and may fight with other dogs if not exposed to them when young.
